Key Position Responsibilities
Manage on-site warehouse operations ensuring compliance with site safety, food, hygiene and regulatory standards (traceability, storage rules, sanitation).
Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition against purchase orders, and record receipts in ERP system (JDE).
Control inventory through cycle counts, audits, reconciliations and implementation of FIFO, labelling and bin organisation to minimize shrinkage and picking errors.
Store raw materials and finished goods according to material storage requirements; maintain storage systems and perform routine inspections of forklifts, high reach and pallet jacks to meet H&S standards.
Pick, pack and prepare customer / store orders; consolidate sales orders, ensure correct labelling, packing and pallet configuration (including retailer-specific requirements), coordinate carrier pickups and load trucks safely.
Issue materials and record finished goods in ERP system (JDE) in accordance with production schedules and internal standards.
Maintain accurate documentation and regular reports (inventory tracking, invoices, delivery notes, inspection reports and photos) to support supplier claims, returns and traceability.
Collaborate cross-functional teams to optimise warehouse space utilisation, drive process improvements and implement best practices.
About You
Proven experience in a warehouse environment, including receiving, picking, packing and dispatch.
Forklift licence (including high reach) with F endorsement / OHS forklift certification (mandatory).
Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (JDE) and ERP transactions.
Microsoft Office skills, with strong Excel capabilities (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas).
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, traceability and regulatory storage requirements.
Sound, logical thinker with an end-to-end process view and a continuous improvement mindset.
Excellent communication, teamwork, record-keeping and documentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
