Upper Hutt College is seeking a science (biology) teacher, for a full-time, fixed-term position covering maternity leave. Please state other teaching subjects. The position starts on 28 January 2026 and finishes on 27 January 2027.

Upper Hutt College is a high-performing, vibrant, and inclusive co-educational kura. Our school roll of over 1100 students is large enough to offer a wide range of courses for students of all abilities, yet small enough to know our students well.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative teacher who holds New Zealand teacher registration and has a strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum. Strong support from both departments and an excellent provisional teacher programme makes this an ideal position for a beginning teacher.
