About the Opportunity

We have noted consistent demand for skilled professionals with 2+ years of experience working in fast-paced law firms across-the-board demand from our clients here in the City, with particular interest in candidates looking to relocate out of Wellington late 2025, early 2026.

With Canterbury's prestigious agricultural roots and continued development as a region, there is particularly strong demand across the commercial, conveyancing and litigation spaces. However, we have also filled vacancies in the past 6 months across employment, immigration, building & construction, relationship property, and family law teams.

Your experience will likely include :

• 3+ years operating in a secretarial or PA capacity amongst a high-performing legal team.
• Calendar and inbox management, including booking travel and diarising events.
• Assisting authors with evidence-based research and preparation for Court as required.
• Usage of the file management tools, the Microsoft Office suite and specific legal software.
• Dictation transcription.
• Processing Anti-Money Laundering compliance requests.
• Directly Liaising with clients and key stakeholder groups.
• Invoicing and billing.
