About the Role
We are looking for a sensitive and experienced nurse to join our supportive Sexual Health and Womens Clinics teams.
Full training will be given across varied clinical roles, working across nurse-led and full team clinical days in both the Rangiora Sexual Health Clinic and in Te Aka Tauawhi Tangata Womens Clinics.
This nursing role involves working with patients as they navigate challenging life events, and will suit a nurse interested in holistic care.
About the Team / Service / Location
The Rangiora Sexual Health Clinic provides comprehensive sexual health care to our local community.
HIV care and Gender Affiming care services are also based in the Rangiora Clinic.
In this Sexual Health nursing role, you will provide specialised care, working both autonomously and within the team.
In the Womens Clinics, the role may include work across abortion care, miscarriage care, pre-term birth and amniocentesis clinics and the LARC (contraception) Clinic.

About you
As a Registered Nurse working in Sexual and Reproductive Health, it is crucial that you have the ability to work empathetically with a broad cross-section of individuals in sensitive and often personally difficult contexts, and this requires a high degree of respect for people, their privacy and for confidentiality, alongside clinical skill.
You will need :
Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand
Current APC
To be self-motivated and both patient-focused and team-focused
To have excellent communication skills, both patient-facing and within the team
Possess a strong interest in this area of health care
Bring sound nursing experience and skill, preferably in womens or sexual health, or emergency nursing.
