Deliver business change projects which help enable the energy future for NZ!
From business case to delivery manage concurrent, complex, multiyear projects
Permanent role in our Operations Process and Technology Improvement group
Build relationships and drive business outcomes through astute project management.
Utilise your experience, at the heart of the electricity sector.
Transpower's purpose is to empower the energy future for New Zealand - a future that delivers a net-zero carbon economy and a reliable and secure electricity system.
As New Zealand's System Operator at the heart of the electricity sector, we operate the power system and connect the generators of electricity with electricity retailers (who on-sell it to consumers) through the wholesale electricity market.
We manage the flow of that electricity across Transpower's high-voltage transmission network to each of the twenty-nine local lines companies that supply individual homes and businesses across their low-voltage networks.
We also carry electricity to large industrial customers connected directly to the national grid.
A key part of our role is to ensure that electricity supply and demand are in balance at all times, and to manage voltage and frequency on the grid to ensure it remains consistently stable enabling New Zealanders access to the electricity they need, every second of every day.
