Senior Analyst, Fund Management – Ministry of Education New Zealand
Overview
The role plays a critical part in ensuring education investments deliver maximum impact by designing and implementing a robust fund management framework, monitoring performance, and providing strategic advice based on data and insights.
The position is based in Wellington (or Napier) and is a permanent, full-time role that offers flexibility around location.
Salary range : $100,296 – $121,490 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver.
The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary that reflects individual skills and experience.
Responsibilities
Design and implement a robust fund management framework for education investments.
Monitor performance and provide strategic advice based on data and insights.
Balance financial integrity with social outcomes, influencing decisions and driving results.
About you
Proven experience in fund and contract management within the social sector (commercial context desirable).
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (post-graduate preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills.
Strong judgement, decision-making, and leadership capabilities.
Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
Willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
