Overview
The role plays a critical part in ensuring education investments deliver maximum impact by designing and implementing a robust fund management framework, monitoring performance, and providing strategic advice based on data and insights. The position is based in Wellington (or Napier) and is a permanent, full‑time role that offers flexibility around location.
Salary range : $100,296 – $121,490 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary that reflects individual skills and experience.

We manage complex funding arrangements and monitor performance to tell the full story of how resources create outcomes. This team tackles challenging work—balancing financial integrity with social impact—while collaborating across the Ministry to drive transparency and accountability.
