If you're excited to grow your career with a team that's innovative, hardworking, collaborative and deeply rooted in community, we want to meet you.Join Servus and discover a better way to work.Role & ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Branch Manager, your primary objective is to develop long-term relationships with members, building trust, and delivering customized financial solutions that help them feel good about their money.Identifying opportunities to match members with the right products and solutions that help shape their financial fitnessMeeting and exceeding sales targets and referral goalsParticipating in and assisting with business development plans through corporate / branch marketing campaignsDemonstrating excellent communication skills and engaging members in conversations to determine their immediate needsDeveloping ongoing knowledge of our current investment / retail banking services and products (mutual funds, underwriting, credits, loans, investment needs, etc.)Promoting referrals to our Wealth Management, Business Banking teams, and our 3rd party providersBuilding a comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trendsAdhering to all audits, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks of fraud or lossProviding outstanding member experience by adhering to Servus' best practicesContributing to Servus' unparalleled culture of teamwork, positivity, and collaborationMaintaining Servus' positive image in the communityQualifications & What you'll bringWhat you bring : To qualify, you will need at least 2 years of retail banking or related financial industry experience, preferably in sales or customer service and a high school diploma.Educational assets (not required but valuable) : Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC)Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA)Financial Planning I (FP1)Most importantly, we're looking for candidates whose personal values align with our cooperative values.
