As a Kaitohutohu Akonga | Future Student Advisor, you will play a vital role in connecting with future students to share the opportunities, pathways, and experiences UC has to offer.

As a Future Student Advisor you will build strong connections with future students, their whanau, careers staff, and key community stakeholders.

By representing UC at schools, events, and community engagements you will foster interest and engagement that results in the recruitment of high-quality future students to UC in line with our strategic goals.

You will provide expert advice on academic pathways, entry requirements, and study options and gather and use market insights to enhance recruitment strategies and programme development.

While you will recruit students from all walks of life, you will also have a strong affinity with the Pacific community.

This role involves regular travel to meet future students where they are.

You will have at least 2-3 years' experience in sales, marketing, recruitment, or advisory roles, as well be able to demonstrate :

Active connections or networks with the Pacific community

Presentation skills to diverse audiences.

Ability to foster relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

Skills in report writing, data analysis, and ideally experience with CRM systems.

Understanding of tertiary or secondary education environments.

Full NZ driver's licence, and the ability to travel.

The Engagement department includes domestic student recruitment and international student recruitment.
