These projects move quickly, giving you the opportunity to experience the full lifecycle—scope, design, delivery, and commissioning—across a wide range of customers and technologies.You'll typically have several projects on the go at once, so the role suits someone who can think on their feet, switch between tasks, and stay focused on delivering quality outcomes.Most projects are in the dairy sector nationwide, but the work also extends into broader food and beverage manufacturing.
The scope means you'll gain exposure to process audits, data collection, problem-solving on client sites, and developing practical engineering solutions that add real value.While travel to customer sites is part of the role, it is generally shorter and less intensive than with large-scale projects, making it a great balance for engineers who enjoy variety without being away for long stretches.What You'll Be DoingConducting on-site process audits and collecting performance dataIdentifying opportunities for optimisation and developing fit-for-purpose solutionsWorking across the project lifecycle—from initial design through to commissioningManaging multiple projects at once, switching between them as priorities shiftCollaborating with senior engineers and subject matter experts in key dairy and food processesBuilding customer relationships by delivering successful outcomesWhat We're Looking For2-5 years' experience in process engineering (dairy, food, beverage, or related industries)Tertiary qualification in process, chemical, or mechanical engineeringA proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skillsConfidence to work on-site with clients and collaborate in project teamsAgility to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly between projectsA drive to learn from highly experienced engineers and grow your technical capabilityWhy Join?
