This role will work alongside our recently started pilot roles - ED Allied Health Coordinators, within the MAPU and ED space, to facilitate ED discharges, ensure timely review of patients entering the hospital and treat and discharge those on our short stay MAPU.
The clinical focus is broad ranging from acute respiratory to acute musculoskeletal assessment and everything in between.The position is part of our inpatient physiotherapy team at Wellington Regional Hospital, treating patients across all specialities in the hospital.
The role sits within our neuro / med / onc / ortho mini-team, consisting of advanced, experienced and rotational physiotherapists.
Cover will be required across the hospital as service need indicates.This role also includes on call and weekend working commitments, covering Wellington Regional Hospital - adult and paediatric patients.About the Team / Service LocationThe Wellington Physiotherapy Team work predominantly in the inpatient setting at Wellington Regional Hospital.
