Rotational Physiotherapist

Permanent, Fulltime (40 hours per week)

About the Role

This Rotational Physiotherapy role is a permanent role in Taupo Hospital.

We have a small, permanent Physiotherapy team at Taupo Hospital.

You will be part of a supportive and skilled multidisciplinary team where you will feel a strong sense of belonging, growth and will be able to explore innovative ways to offer physiotherapy services to the Taupo / Turangi demographic.

The Role will contribute across a variety of domains.

Rotations may include :

  • Acute wards : Medical, Surgical, Maternity, Orthopaedics, ED, Paediatrics
  • Rehabilitation : Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation (AT&R)
  • Outpatient services and weekly MSK clinics in Turangi
  • Group programme facilitation and tailored clinical pathways

This role includes :

  • Structured rotations and fixed placements based on your interests
  • Opportunity to expand your scope or deepen your specialty focus
  • Supportive clinical backup and collaboration across Te Whatu Ora Lakes
  • No weekend or on-call roster commitment
  • Free staff parking

    About you

  • Current APC holder (NZ Physiotherapy Board)
  • 2+ years experience in hospital / community settings preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong clinical reasoning, confident autonomy, and collaborative spirit
