Students and staff at our kura are looking for an energetic, high quality experienced teacher to work with them.
As a Whanau leader, the successful candidate will need to be highly relational, collaborative and committed to our Y3 and 4 learners and provide support and direction for teaching colleagues.
We have a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
The successful applicant will be a highly capable classroom practitioner who can inspire and lead others in refining their practice and embedding effective pedagogy.
This is a critical appointment, and we are seeking someone who aligns with our strategic direction and commitment to continual improvement.
A key part of this role involves using coaching and mentoring to build teacher capability.
This may be in pedagogical practice, curriculum competence and confidence or both depending on the strengths of the successful candidate.
You will be well supported in developing and applying these leadership approaches.
