Retort Operator

We have a passionate and dedicated team who are incredibly proud of the products we make and love sharing them globally.We are looking for an experienced Retort Operator to join the team and get our canning line up and running.

Responsible for overseeing the retort sterilization process, maintaining equipment functionality, and adhering to strict safety and quality standards, the Retort Operator position plays a crucial role in the success of our new line.The ideal candidate will have experience in high speed production processes, as well as thermal processing system training.

As a senior operator within the business, you will also be backup to the Team Leader when required.Key Responsibilities : Proficient in operating and maintaining retort equipment, including understanding control systems, temperature regulation, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.Conducting quality checks, monitoring critical control points, and maintaining product quality standards throughout the production process.Efficiently managing time and resources to meet production schedules and deadlines, optimizing productivity while maintaining quality standards.Maintaining accurate records of production activities, including batch records, temperature logs, and quality control documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Key Requirements : A proven track record in handling advanced automated equipmentExperience operating retorts.Expertise in overseeing high-speed production processes.In addition, you are a reliable team player who takes pride in your attention to detail and quality outputs.
