We are looking for Slaughterers for the upcoming season. We are seeking candidates to work for our plants in Pacific & Takapau, Hawkes Bay.

We are looking for Slaughterers for the upcoming season. We are seeking candidates to work for our plants in

Pacific & Takapau, Hawkes Bay
Dargaville, Northland
Te Aroha, Waikato
Hawera and Waitotara, Taranaki

Job requirements :

A team player who can work closely with others.

Must have three years of relevant work experience

Be eligible to work in New Zealand

Working arrangements :

Earn a minimum of $815.40 to $864.60 gross per week.

Minimum 30 hours per week

Shift times vary from 5.50am to 3.30pm and 2.50pm to 12.00am depending on site location

We pay a minimum of $27.18 hourly and maximum of $28.82 hourly

Job Duties :

Processing duties and tasks including but not limited to the following

Stunning livestock

Preparing carcasses for processing

Removing and processing internal organs and hides

Cutting and trimming meat

Maintaining hygiene and safety standards

Silver Fern Farms is working hard to maintain a drug and alcohol-free workplace. Pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.

You will need to have the correct eligibility to work in New Zealand.
