Run what runs the world.This position reports to : Production SupervisorYour Role And ResponsibilitiesIn this role based in Napier, you will support the unit in achieving production targets by adhering to systems and processes.
You will operate machinery and equipment on the shop floor and read and interpret technical diagrams / instructions for assembly of products, systems, or panels.The work model for the role is onsite in Napier.
This role contributes to the Production Manufacturing team in Napier.
Key stakeholders include the IPU Leader, Planning and Fulfilment Team, Manufacturing Engineers, and Quality and Production Development Team.You will be mainly accountable for : Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products / systems / panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.Our team dynamic is collaborative, with a focus on efficient problem-solving, mutual support, and high-quality standards to meet production goals.
The role involves moving to Hawke's Bay with a safe, scenic location and a supportive team contributing to sustainable solutions that power industries worldwide.Qualifications For The RoleYou are highly skilled in working with assembly tools, methodologies, and processes relevant to the manufacturing industry.Experience reading and interpreting technical diagrams, instructions, or blueprints for systems, panels, or products.Proficiency operating light hand tools and following standardized operating procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.Passionate about precision, quality control, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.Proven experience or formal qualification in manufacturing or related fields.Effective communication in English for technical requirements.You hold a valid New Zealand work permit or visa, allowing you to work legally in the role.What's in it for you?
