The Senior Financial Systems Accountant is a critical role that provides technical accounting expertise and ensures the integrity and performance of our financial management systems.

In this position, you will lead the maintenance, optimisation, and ongoing improvement of the Commission's financial systems. You'll ensure that our systems support accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and reliable data that managers can trust.
Your responsibilities will include system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, reconciliations, user support, documentation, and leading system enhancements and upgrades. You'll also work closely with ICT, system vendors, and finance colleagues to ensure we continually improve processes and capabilities.
This is a senior technical role well-suited to someone with strong systems knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between finance and technology.
This is an 18 month fixed term role the salary band for this role is $127k-$134k
