Senior Management Accountant – Ministry of Education New Zealand

Fixed-term or secondment role for 6 months. Key role providing financial advice, information and analysis to the Ministry’s School Property business group. Wellington-based.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial advice, information and analysis to help managers across the School Property business group to make timely and informed financial decisions, manage financial performance and be accountable for public funds.
• Strengthen the Ministry’s financial strategy and support effective financial management.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Balance detailed financial oversight with broader strategic perspective.

Qualifications

Salary range : $100,296 - $121,490 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.
