The Aviation Security Service currently has fixed term opportunities available for Load Assistants based at Christchurch Airport with full training provided – no experience required!
About The Role
As a Load Assistant you will be responsible for greeting passengers and preparing them for pre-flight screening at Christchurch Airport's International and Domestic screening points.
We have multiple fixed term positions available from early December
For these roles, we are requiring a workforce that is available
You will be working a 6 days on / 3 days off roster.

About You
We are looking for people who want to contribute to keeping the skies of Aotearoa New Zealand safe and secure.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to engage with a broad range of people, keep calm when things get busy, and have clear verbal communication skills.
Ideally, you will have prior customer service experience, but this is not essential.
What do you need?
New Zealand / Australian citizenship or New Zealand residency
Be able to manage your own transportation to and from work (on-time).
Willing to comply with all required Health and Safety procedures.
Able to work a shift pattern of 6 days on and 3 days off.
Able to commit to the full contract period, with no leave requirements during that time.
Important notes
Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening including police vetting.
Due to the requirements of the role those with serious criminal convictions will not be considered.
