Senior Portfolio Management Advisor

We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Management Advisor to fill a key role for approximately 6 months on a contract basis . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced portfolio or programme advisor to step into a dynamic, purpose-driven environment, supporting the successful delivery of strategic projects and programmes.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Enterprise Portfolio Manager , you’ll be responsible for providing assurance and enablement across the organisation’s enterprise project portfolio. You’ll play a critical role in :

• Conducting quality assurance across the project and programme lifecycle
• Supporting and advising delivery teams across the organisation
• Preparing governance reporting and papers
• Ensuring strategic alignment and prioritisation of the portfolio
• Championing benefits realisation, lessons learnt, and continuous improvement
• Coaching, mentoring and uplifting capability across programme and project teams

This is a hands‑on role requiring someone who can work independently and collaboratively, with a customer-focused, solutions-oriented approach.

About You

You’ll bring a strong background in portfolio, programme, or project management, with a depth of experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You’re comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.
