Join our team as a

full-time Support Staff

member based in

Avonhead, Christchurch

, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents in a warm, home-like setting.

You'll support them with everyday activities such as

shopping, meal preparation, household chores, personal care, and community outings

This role offers a meaningful opportunity to build trusted relationships and provide compassionate, person-centred support tailored to each individual\'s needs.

Note :

Although Hawksbury is accredited to hire staff on an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), we do not have a Job Check for this position so

cannot

support applicant with the visa process.

Responsibilities

Regular Hours :

3pm - 11pm Week 1 | 7am – 3pm Week 3

Regular Days Off :

Monday and Sunday each week.

Pay Range

: $

• per hour (based on qualifications)

Qualifications

Ideally, you'll have

an NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or equivalent along with :

A positive attitude to supporting people with learning disability.

A full New Zealand driver's licence (essential).

Great communication skills (written and verbal).
