Job Description

The Research Fellow will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) to conduct design and control in 3D printing of nitinol.

Responsibilities

Planning and implementing experiments and simulations

Writing progress reports and research papers

Conducting literature reviews

Other lab activities

Qualifications

PhD in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering

Extensive research experience in metallurgy, mechanical properties, and additive manufacturing is required

Research experience with nitinol or other shape memory alloys is favourable

Good attitude, self-motivated, good team player

Proficient in English for the purpose of writing research reports and papers.
