Full‑time, Fixed‑term position for 4 months
Wildlands are seeking an Ecological Restoration Field Team Member to work full‑time, fixed‑term for a period of 4 months, from 12 January 2026, to assist our Tauranga Branch, based at Tauriko.
The hourly rate range is $26.00 – $27.80, depending on experience brought upon starting, with the potential for a further increase when the core competencies of the role are met.
The role is to undertake ecological restoration work which includes pest plant control, planting and pest animal control.
It is essential that you have a willingness to contribute and work in a team, are physically fit, and have a passion for working outdoors in all sorts of weather. The work involves the use of agrichemicals (herbicides), animal toxins (poisons), and handling carcasses through trapping. Some work may involve staying away in remote areas in basic accommodation.
