Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a dedicated Night Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for completing the hotel's daily audit, including end-of-night financial reconciliations and banking.
You will also perform reception duties throughout the night, prepare for the following day, and work closely with the Night Porter to maintain overnight security of the reception area.
Additionally, you will oversee late-night in-room dining to ensure a seamless guest experience.
This is a permanent part-time position, starting with 2 nights per week and the opportunity to increase up to 4 nights.
Key Attributes
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with sharp attention to detail
Enjoys working with numbers and resolving accounting discrepancies
Conducts thorough night audits, ensuring accuracy in revenue postings, financial reports, and daily reconciliation
Excellent listener and team player with a collaborative approach
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Opera, and hotel reservation systems, with a solid understanding of operational technology and reporting tools
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Passionate about hospitality and community engagement
Maintains a professional appearance and demonstrates a positive attitude, adaptability, and flexibility

Manage night operations, ensuring smooth transitions, precise reporting, and full preparedness for the next business day
Maintain guest and property safety by overseeing night-time security protocols, managing incidents, and ensuring compliance with legal standards
Deliver outstanding guest service throughout the night, addressing needs promptly and effectively
Guest Service Excellence – Providing friendly, professional, and attentive service to ensure a great guest experience overnight.
Financial Accuracy – Conducting precise night audits, cash handling, and resolving any discrepancies.
Strong Communication – Clear verbal and written communication for smooth reporting and guest interactions.
Security & Safety Awareness – Monitoring security protocols to maintain guest and property safety.
Independence & Problem Solving – Able to work autonomously and quickly resolve issues that arise during night shifts.
