Senior Landscape Gardener

The Role Millbrook Resort's landscape is iconic, the peaceful setting allows people to 'escape the everyday,' as they enter the resort.

The role provides the opportunity to ensure the gardens around the resort and the properties are maintained to the highest horticultural standards, providing quality services and adding real value to the operation.

This is a key position, and the successful candidate will need to have strong focus on excellence and being part of a collaborative team, with a 'can do' attitude and a flexible approach.

We are looking for someone who love working outdoors in all weather conditions and has a knowledge of a variety of Landscape maintenance activities.

Success Profile 2-3 years previous gardening experience is desirable Knowledge of maintenance activities such as irrigation control, arboriculture, lawn management and pest control is desirable Excellent communication skills, coupled with a 'can do' attitude Must be physically fit and able to carry out manual handling Must be comfortable working outdoors and in all weather conditions Willingness to learn new tasks and develop horticultural knowledge Ability to work independently using own initiative, as well as an effective team player Great time management skills NZ Drivers Licence desirable Location : Arrowtown, Queenstown Hours : Full time permanent
