Certificated teacher, Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Mathematics and statistics.

We are a unique semi-rural composite school – Y0 to 13 - of just over 400 students, situated in beautiful countryside above the mighty Waikato River, on the Auckland-Waikato border.

Here, an exciting opportunity awaits an inspiring Mathematics teacher who will bring energy and expertise to the classroom, helping students to build knowledge, resilience and confidence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics across Y9 to NCEA Level 3.

A bonus if you have the ability to teach physics up to NCEA Level 3.

We are looking for someone who is a good team player, willing to support their colleagues to ensure the success of our whole department.

This position is suitable for a PCT or experienced teacher.

Successful candidates will need to be NZ registered teachers.

The successful candidate will commence at the start of term 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

Teach mathematics across Y9 to NCEA Level 3; bonus if you can teach physics up to NCEA Level 3.

Be a good team player, willing to support colleagues to ensure the success of the whole department.
