In this role, you will be the sole person responsible for maintaining the integrity of the financial systems and leading continuous improvements to optimize them. You will play a key part in supporting the Senior Financial Accountant and Management Accountants with reporting and audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on financial systems and general financial accounting to staff and management.
• Implement new financial system functions and upgrades, and maintain the financial system's administration, including month-end and year-end processes.
• Deliver specialized systems accounting services that contribute to the organization's outcomes.
• Maintain and develop automated processes, such as cost allocations and interfaces to other internal systems.
• Develop and maintain reports, queries, and dashboards.
• Provide help desk support and user training for financial systems.
• Lead initiatives to optimize the full potential of financial systems and business processes.
• Prepare and ensure accurate external reporting to the Treasury in a timely manner.
• Actively participate in year-end and interim audits.
