Casual Labourer – Garden Maintenance

We're looking for reliable casual workers to help maintain beautiful outdoor spaces across multiple retirement villages in the Waikato region. As needed, you'll assist with a variety of gardening and maintenance tasks, including :

Mowing small plant areas

Weeding, pruning, and hedge trimming

Developing new garden beds and landscapes

Hand-pulling weeds and vegetation control

General labour duties as required

You'll work as part of a team to keep these spaces looking great while ensuring safety for yourself, your team, and the residents.

Who We're Looking For

No prior experience? No problem! If you enjoy working outdoors and don't mind getting your hands dirty, we want to hear from you. Ideally, you'll have :

A full, current driver's licence (must be able to drive a manual confidently)

A solid work ethic and a hands-on, can-do attitude

Knowledge of health and safety practices (or a willingness to learn)

Good communication skills, as you may interact with residents

The physical fitness to handle the demands of the role
