Te Mahi – About the job

Asa Senior Studio Operator, you’ll play a key role in the production and deliveryof high-quality radio and multimedia content. You’ll work closely with RNZ’sContent Group to ensure our audiences receive compelling programming whereverand whenever they tune in.

Yourrole will include :

• Supporting liveradio production and content publishing across platforms
• Recording musicand other in-studio sessions
• Audio postproduction and multimedia editing
• Participating in outsidebroadcasts, including live music events and radio shows
• Collaborating withcolleagues across RNZ to deliver seamless production
• Staying currentwith emerging technologies and contributing to innovation
• Able to workflexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Proven experience as a Sound Engineer or Studio Operator
• Strong expertise and knowledge in operating audio studios andequipment for diverse production needs
• A proactive approach to learning and applying new technologies
• Excellent studio engineering and audio production skills
• Knowledge and application of audio editing software anddigital production tools
• Creative problem-solving and lateral thinking
• Ability to work efficiently and adapt to changing priorities
• A team player who builds positive, respectful relationships
