Their mission is to ensure Māori sovereignty over traditional knowledge and natural resources while addressing modern challenges like intellectual property rights, biopiracy, and environmental degradation.
Role Description
This is an on-site volunteer role located in Auckland. The Volunteer will assist in various tasks including promoting cultural rights, conducting research on taonga species, aiding in educational outreach programs, and supporting environmental protection initiatives. Responsibilities also include collaborating with the Māori community and contributing to the Trust's efforts in safeguarding traditional knowledge and natural resources.
