ROC is seeking a compassionate and proactive Volunteer Youth Worker to support programme delivery and enhance client wellbeing.
In this role, you'll work alongside staff, clients, and community partners to :
Provide practical and emotional support
Support skill development and social connection
Promote integration and wellbeing in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Requirements
A background in youth work, social work, community work, counselling, or a related field (qualification or experience).
Knowledge of challenges faced by former refugees and migrants in settlement and integration.
Cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Empathy, patience, and resilience when supporting people facing complex situations.
Understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality.
A Youth work qualification (or relevant experience) is desirable, but not mandatory.
A Police background check is required for this role.
