We are seeking a mathematics teacher to join our kura from the start of the 2026 school year. This is a full-time, permanent position. The ability to teach junior science is advantageous.

Catholic Cathedral College is a special character, co-educational school with a maximum roll of 635, situated in central Christchurch. We are a culturally diverse, whānau-focused school and follow the charisms of our founding orders to live by faith.

As this role is a special character position, a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the college is required, and shall be a condition of employment. A special character Sch 6, Cl 47 form is required to be submitted as part of the application.

We recognise the unique position of Māori as tangata whenua and ensure that our policy statements and actions promote the intentions of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Aotearoa New Zealand, and hold a current New Zealand practising certificate.
