This role reports to the Finance Manager based in Dunedin, with support also provided directly to the CFO based in London.

Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing financial information for various stakeholders including senior management, the board of directors, investors and tax authoritiesAnalysing financial data to support business profitability and growthPreparation of annual consolidated financial statementsFinancial analysis and planningProviding accurate and relevant management reporting to support decision-makingMonth-end and year-end journal entriesPerforming monthly balance sheet reconciliationsPreparation of monthly group statutory and management accountsContribution to annual budgeting and planningCapital expenditure managementFinancial statement preparation, including P&L accounts, cash flows, and variancesEnsuring compliance with financial regulationsMentoring and supporting other members of the Finance teamReviewing and improving accounting processes and practices for efficiencyAssisting in the annual external audit processSkills & ExperienceA minimum of 1 year of post-qualification commercial work experience (qualifications required : CAANZ, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or similar)Must have experience in end-of-month reporting for multiple entitiesComfortable navigating dynamic environments with agility and focusAbility to work independently, along with strong collaboration skills to deliver accurate and timely insights to all stakeholdersA proactive and motivated mind-set, willing to collaborate with cross-functional teamsThe ability to adapt and take on various roles within the Finance team as neededA strong sense of pride in delivering high-quality workA friendly team player with great interpersonal skillsThe ability to work on both complex assignments and routine tasksA good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office35 days holiday including STAT daysLife insuranceBirthday holiday leaveA monthly well-being allowanceEmployee Assistance ProgrammeEnhanced maternity / paternity leaveAccess to an extensive online learning platformTo ApplyThis is a permanent 40 hour per week role, working Monday to Friday.
