We work together with a number of key organisations as part of a community-wide approach to end homelessness.Increased Employer Kiwisaver contributionFive weeks of Annual Leave (after 12 months of employment)2 paid Wellbeing Days per yearHealthNow Payment Card - $250 per year to support Health and Wellbeing for you and your whanauThis is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00pm, based in Manukau working across South Auckland.You'll be working within theHousing Firstservice—a wrap-around, community-based housing initiative focused on transition, recovery, and wellness.

This service empowers tangata whai ora and their whanau to build the capacity to live well, with a strong emphasis on holistic support.In this role, you'll support individuals with high and complex needs, many of whom face intergenerational challenges, mental health issues, addiction, and trauma.

Your work will be grounded in the Housing First philosophy, helping people find and sustain stable housing in the community.This is a chance to grow your skills and knowledge in the areas of housing and homelessness, while being part of an innovative and expanding service where fresh ideas are welcomed and creative solutions are the norm.We'd love to hear from registered health professionals with a range of experience in the mental health and social sectors, particularly (but not necessarily) with experience in housing and residential recovery services.

Ideally you will have : Relevant qualification in AOD and a current annual practicing certificateStrong communication and relationship building skills, you'll quickly build credibility while showcasing your sound problem solving and conflict resolution skills.An ability to work at pace and flourish under pressure will be complemented by excellent attention to detail and proficiency in record keeping.Knowledge of and demonstrate utmost commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi articles and working with Maori.A full New Zealand driving license is also essential.Closing Date| Ra Katinga : 18 September 2025.Please note,we will be shortlisting as we go, therefore, this advert may close when a suitable candidate has been found.Contact| Whakapa : Tony Tietie, Team Leader on For further information, visit our website new appointees require background checking.
