Physics teacher

Overview

We are seeking a full-time, permanent physics teacher to join our science faculty commencing term 1, 28 January 2026. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of the Science curriculum, will be engaging, enthusiastic, and able to work collaboratively with staff in our large and supportive faculty. The ability to teach IB Physics would be an advantage. We welcome applications from experienced Physics teachers and beginning teachers.

All applicants must be willing to engage in ongoing professional learning and development, along with participation in extracurricular or co-curricular activities as part of the wider life of the school. Please list all other subjects.

Responsibilities

• Teach physics to secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura within the science faculty.
• Collaborate with staff in a large and supportive science team.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and development.
• participate in extracurricular or co-curricular activities as part of the school community.
