Key Responsibilities

• Interpret demolition and renovation plans to identify structures, partitions, and fixtures for dismantling or retention.
• Cut, assemble, erect, and dismantle frameworks, floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and joinery during demolition projects.
• Build and install temporary timber structures (e.g., bracing, hoardings, safety barriers) to ensure site stability and safety.
• Dismantle and salvage timber for reuse, recycling, or safe disposal in line with sustainability requirements.
• Repair or modify retained timber structures to support renovation or makeover projects.
• Work closely with demolition teams to ensure safe removal of structural timber without damaging retained areas.
• Apply knowledge of load-bearing elements to support safe demolition processes.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, compliant, and efficient condition.
