• Due to an internal move, we currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced banking professional to progress their career in an equally challenging yet rewarding role, where you will lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial and Business Partners.We sat down with our Head of Commercial, Agri & Business, who let us know the following about the role :
• Working closely with the Head of Commercial, Agri & Business to develop and implement annual business plans and market strategies which promote the growth of BNZ Partners market share.
• Ensuring Partners understand their roles and what is required to achieve success through constructive performance conversations.
• Encouraging knowledge transfer / best practice / leverage of experience, to improve the overall achievement of the Partnership and Regional teams.
• Maintaining the credit quality of the lending book of the team through the assessment of lending proposals, analysing financial information, and agreeing lending proposals in consultation with Credit.
• Complying with external legislation, bank standards and internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position.You will be leading a team of Partners and Associate Partners across the Waikato region. This is a diverse role with a team of both fresh new faces and BNZ veterans. You will also have a proven track record of leading a team, preferably gained within a customer facing environment within the financial services industry.For internal reference this role is Hay 18.
