Clinical Research Technician — Permanent Full Time

Position Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support nursing staff in conducting clinical procedures and maintaining accurate participant records, ensuring adherence to study protocols and high data quality standards.

Responsibilities

• To assist Nursing staff with some clinical procedures i.e. taking and recording of vital signs, ECGs, urinalysis, as mandated by study protocols.
• To enter accurate and real time data into participant records and initiate self-checking mechanisms for accuracy and participating in Quality Control activities.
• To perform all set tasks in a timely manner and within allowable protocol windows.
• To assist in keeping the ward areas clean and tidy.
• To be involved in the delivery of standardised meals as required for participants, maintaining protocol mandated dietary restrictions.
• To assist with any other tasks as may be required and as directed by Senior Nursing staff.
• Follows NZCR Policies and Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and Working Procedures in their clinical work accurately and at all times.
