Digital Automation Manager
Location : Ponsonby, Auckland
Full-time |Permanent|Hybrid
This is a full‑time permanent role, with a target start date of mid‑January 2026.
About the Role :
We are looking for a Digital Automation Manager to join our Marketing team — a highly skilled professional who can bridge the gap between marketing strategy and technology. This role will lead marketing automation initiatives across our group, helping us deliver smarter, data‑driven, and personalized experiences to prospective students.
Key Responsibilities
Lead marketing automation and optimization initiatives across all UP Education brands and providers.
Act as the technical expert across our marketing tech stack, including Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, WordPress, Contentful, and Zapier .
Use automation and CRM integrations to drive performance, engagement, and lead conversion.
Collaborate with IT and third‑party suppliers to implement Modica SMS across the Group.
Conduct quarterly reviews of marketing technology across the Group, standardizing platforms for efficiency (e.g., consolidating Australian providers).
Manage and maintain CRM database integrity and data cleanup projects.
Lead Open Day technology integrations , ensuring seamless sign‑in and lead capture processes via Marketo and third‑party systems.
Own and optimize lead nurture programs and autoresponders across all providers, including specialized campaigns for NZ International and NZMA high school initiatives.
Oversee Marketo setup and onboarding for new providers.
Partner with the marketing team to deliver virtual campus tours across the network.
Implement and enhance Dynamic Chat experiences for lead engagement.
Qualifications
About You
You’re a data‑driven problem solver who thrives at the intersection of marketing and technology. You enjoy designing automated journeys, improving processes, and collaborating across teams to deliver measurable impact.
You’ll bring :
3+ years’ experience in marketing automation or CRM management roles.
Proven expertise in Marketo (or similar platforms) and CRM systems like Salesforce or Dynamics 365.
Experience in Hubspot would be an advantage.
Strong understanding of customer journey design, lead scoring, and email automation workflows .
Ability to work with APIs, integrations, and data mapping between systems.
Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
A passion for digital innovation and continuous improvement.
