We're looking for a strategic and inspiring Manager – Digital Engineering in our retail technology business to elevate our technical and engineering capabilities across Digital Sales & Services platforms.Some of the key responsibilities of this role will be : Lead and mentor a team of Technical Leads, while influencing a wider community of engineers across multiple squads.Establish and uphold engineering standards, ensuring architectural consistency and technical quality across platforms.Define and execute technical strategy that supports brand autonomy and enables faster, decoupled releases and improve speed to value.Champion engineering culture through Dev Guilds, capability uplift, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.Influence the tech platform roadmap, aligning engineering initiatives with business goals and modern delivery practices.Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, maintainable, and customer-centric digital solutions.Our Tech EcosystemFrontend : React, Tailwind, StorybookBackend : NestJS, AWS (Lambda, Microservices)Tooling : NewRelic, Playwright, GitHub Copilot, Nx, RsPackThis is a full time permanent opportunity based in major locations of Australia and New Zealand.
