Carpenter / Joiners Wanted – Wellington

We're looking for experienced Carpenter / Joiners who are confident in both carpentry and joinery duties to join our Wellington-based team.

Responsibilities :

You'll need to be confident and experienced with :

Residential, commercial & civil carpentry

1st, 2nd & final fix carpentry and joinery work

Reading and working from plans, specifications & technical drawings

Fabricating, installing, and repairing joinery components such as doors, windows, staircases, cabinetry, and bespoke timber features

Framing, subflooring, cladding & roof work

Precision fitting and finishing of timber and composite materials

Shuttering joinery & steel tying

Operating power tools and machinery relevant to both carpentry and joinery

Requirements :

3+ years' solid experience in carpentry and joinery

Trade qualified preferred but not essential if you have strong experience

Your own hand and power tools

Reliable transport

Two solid work references

Strong commitment to Health & Safety

Able to pass a pre-employment drug test

Benefits :

$30–$35 / hr (depending on experience)
