Senior Security Technician

Overview

Optic Security Group (OSG) has a full-time opportunity for a Senior Security Technician based in Auckland. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, repair, modification and testing of solutions for data, voice and security systems, across a range of sites. You will lead and work with a small team of skilled Security Technicians and contribute to developing, installing, and servicing solutions for electronic security by integrating access control, intruder detection, and CCTV systems using a variety of commercial security systems including Gallagher, Integrity, ICT, and other CCTV systems.

You will work with a variety of clients, from top-tier security clearance businesses to local organizations. You will keep clients informed at all stages, ensuring adherence to industry standards as well as client standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating internal resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless execution of works and projects.
• Interpreting system drawings in relation to the installation of security and related systems.
• Conducting site examinations to understand actual site conditions and how they relate to install work on security and related systems.
• Resolving technical faults and allocating resources to deliver solid, cost-effective solutions.
