Senior Management Accountant

A Wellington-based public sector organisation is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to provide financial advice and support.

The role involves strategic planning, budget bids, and business cases, aiming to enhance financial management capability.Key Responsibilities : Serve as a finance expert, offering respected advice and guidance across the organisation.Build relationships and develop a deep understanding of the portfolio to deliver trusted financial advice.Assess commercial viability of investment decisions and articulate financial risks and opportunities.Lead initiatives to enhance the organisation's financial management capability.Design, deliver, and improve finance training material and guidance for all levels of the organisation.Qualifications : A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.Over 4 years of finance experience with proven project and advisory experience in senior management roles.CAANZ Chartered Accountant Qualification (or equivalent).
