This is a full-time position working Monday to Thursday 0730 - 1600, and Friday 0730 - 1800 at our Pioneers Café based at our Russley Road office in Christchurch.In this role you will : Make coffee - Experience making coffee is essential as this role works independentlyCraft other delicious beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the caféProvide an excellent food and beverage service in the café for team members, customers and visitorsPromote a welcoming and caring atmosphere in the caféWork closely with, and support your colleaguesAbout YouTo thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have : Previous experience as a Barista in a busy cafe environmentOutstanding communication and customer service skills with the ability to multitask with coffee making, serving customers and food serviceStrong empathy with a friendly and approachable demeanourA reliable, friendly and professional manner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPlease note that, although we often welcome applications from overseas candidates, due to immigration requirements, we require applicants to have New Zealand work rights for this position.About RymanAt Ryman, we believe the measure of a full life is one that gets richer with age.Ryman Healthcare is a leader in retirement living and aged care.
