About The Role
We have an exciting fixed-term opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our Mangawhai team for maternity cover.
This is a part-time role (2-3 days per week,
The role involves working autonomously with access to our gym and covering med fees, pain, and rehabilitation contracts.
At TBI Health, we work with a wide range of funders nationwide and provide diverse rehabilitation services.
This role offers a varied and rewarding experience, allowing you to work across different services while gaining valuable clinical experience.
You will be supported by senior physiotherapists, report to the Whangarei Clinic Manager, and work closely with other members of our clinical team to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Key Responsibilities
Provide assessment and rehabilitation services in line with ACC specialist and social rehabilitation contract service specifications.
Plan, implement, evaluate, and progress physiotherapy care for patients.
Monitor patient progress and communicate with the multidisciplinary team to support discharge planning.
Refer patients to other internal or external healthcare providers for ongoing care when required.
Provide accurate clinical assessments and patient education.
Participate in the management and review of patients within TBI Health's pain management programme.

Be comfortable with Te Ao Maori; knowledge of Te Reo Maori is preferred but not required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Current practising certificate in New Zealand, Professional Body Membership, and Indemnity Insurance.
Current full, clean driver's license.
Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy.
