We welcome applicants interested in joining our committed, collaborative team at Kaikohe East School. We are offering one permanent teacher position to start term 1, 2026.
We are seeking a teacher, for either a junior class or a senior class. The position would suit a teacher who can build strong relationships with tamariki, staff, Board of Trustees, and community, who is collaborative and can deliver engaging classroom programmes that reflect the needs of our predominantly Māori ākonga. Ideally, the successful candidate will have some experience in one or all of the following : Relationships First, Structured Literacy, te reo Māori me ngā tikanga, problem‑solving maths and a connection to Tai Tokerau, more specifically Kaikohe to action a localised curriculum.
