Sound curriculum knowledge, highly effective classroom management and a willingness to take an active part in school life are all essential attributes, along with the ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with families, whanau and colleagues.A strong background in effective literacy and maths teaching is crucial.

Ideally applicants will be familiar with and / or trained in BSLA literacy and Numicon maths.
