PeopleCert is seeking a Business Development Manager with extensive experience in developing pipelines and generating new business within their territory.
By understanding PeopleCert's business and go-to-market strategy, you will establish relationships with decision-makers in training organizations, language education influencers, language schools, universities, local communities, and corporations within your territory.
The successful candidate will manage the LANGUAGECERT portfolio, an UKVI-accredited SELT provider.
Your tasks as a Business Development Manager will include :
- Achieving maximum B2B market penetration for LANGUAGECERT products, especially LANGUAGECERT SELT tests, through targeted sales strategies.
- Promoting the market business, mainly to educational institutions, immigration advisors / solicitors, and other clients in education-related markets.
- Liaising with partners such as language schools, universities, pathway program providers, and overseas study agencies to sell language tests and services.
- Working with universities to enhance their perception of LANGUAGECERT exams, increase utilization in curricula and research, and view LANGUAGECERT as a preferred partner in future education.
- Running regional campaigns to gain recognition and testimonials from universities and organizations.
- Organizing marketing activities tailored to local needs and identifying new potential partners.
- Handling customer inquiries and meeting their expectations.
- Implementing innovative ideas to achieve new business.
- Coordinating activities with the company's operations and considering local market conditions and culture.
- Planning and executing personal sales strategies to maximize Return on Time Investment.
- Monitoring progress against targets and reporting to headquarters.
- Resolving customer problems and working closely with support teams.
- Participating in conferences, trade shows, and conventions.
Qualifications and experience required :
Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification.Based in Australia or New Zealand.At least 5 years of experience in new business development with a successful track record.Experience in the English Language Education market, consulting, or examination / certification sectors, including international corporate environments.Experience working with universities, especially in Sino-foreign educational cooperation programs.Understanding of channel development, strategic selling, partnership strategies, and consultative selling.Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills across diverse and multicultural environments.Proficiency in English (native or C1 level preferred, C1 IESOL certification advantageous).Competence in MS Office and familiarity with CRM systems like Microsoft Dynamics.What we offer :

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
All personnel working on SELT services must undergo background checks acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO before starting. This includes declaring any criminal records or bankruptcy. For UK-based work, checks will include additional requirements. Staff must also be proficient in the relevant language.
