Finance and Infrastructure is a key enabling function for Toi Ohomai, supporting the development of business capabilities, processes and systems that enable our akonga, organisation and kaimahi to thrive.
This directorate leads financial partnership, infrastructure development, and digital innovation, ensuring our environments are not only safe and compliant, but also future-ready and aligned with the evolving needs of both akonga (learners) and kaimahi (staff).
From uplifting financial acumen and practice to transforming infrastructure (physical and digital), this directorate plays a vital role in creating spaces and systems that support learning, collaboration, and everyday operations.
Lead transactional finance operations and statutory reporting.
Oversee financial close processes and external audit coordination.
Maintain cash flow forecasting and funding processes.
Provide coaching and support to finance team members.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting standards.
You bring :
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus CA or CPA membership.
Significant experience managing transactional finance operations and audits.
Strong leadership in developing high-performing finance teams.
Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Maori success.
A passion for equity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
