Clothing Drive Volunteer – Thorndon, Wellington

OverviewNew Zealand Red Cross is holding an annual clothing drive on Saturday 18 October,

Help support this drive by being part of a team, receiving donations of clothing at our collection points.These donations are processed and sent to our Red Cross Shops.

Funds raised through this drive go to supporting communities in Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas, where the need is greatest.ResponsibilitiesDirecting traffic (high-vis vests are provided).

Receiving donations at collection sites.Handling, loading and storing incoming donations.Weighing and record-keeping.Assisting the driver with loading and unloading of donated goods (travel in the truck).

ShiftsThere are two shifts available : Morning Shift : 9 : 30am to 1 : 30pm Afternoon Shift : 1 : 00pm to 5 : 00pm
